Swing Jib Cranes are utilised mostly in the manufacturing industry.

These cranes are generally static and therefore fixed permanently to the ground. Typically they would be used to service a particular process such as loading / unloading a lathe or servicing some other type of manufacturing device / machine.

They would usually be operated in conjunction with a powered or manual block suspended from a trolley unit.

The periodic examination frequency for this type of crane is every twelve months.
